Stranded

If I were stranded on a deserted island and I had to chose three things, one of the things I would be is , I would bring my dog. I feel like if I brought my dog on a deserted island I would feel a lot safer on the island. Also he could protect me, and I feel like I would not be so lonely if I had my dog. My dog is just like my best friend. So having my dog would be a great experience .

The second thing I would want to bring is a box of seeds. I would bring apple seeds. That way I would plant the seeds and apple trees would grow over time. But until the tree grows I could just eat the seeds. If I brought seeds I could still get protein and still be eating and getting energy. I would want to bring apples because there healthy.

As my second choice I would bring a knife. I would bring a knife for protection. Also if I ran out of food I could kill animals. Being safe is the maine issue on a deserted island, because you don`t know what is surrounding you at night time. And with a knife you could cut down branches and clear a path for a certain root.

My free choice is about Sign language. Sign language is a beautiful language created for deaf people. Using sign language is one of the most known ways to communicate by using your hands. There are hundreds of different signs to use, and millions of ways to express them. Sign language was created many many years ago, because many people complained about there children not understanding them. So other doctors and many others created a way to speak.

Using this language you have to work on how neat you are with your hands, and how your facial expressions turn out. Sign language has motions that you would repeat, but they mean different things. The only way you would be able to tell the difference in signs, would be using your expressions. There are so many people who are not even deaf, and learn the language for fun. Tons of schools started teaching this beautiful language for kids who were interested.

Not knowing much about this language, I decided to take it my freshman year. People can make careers learning this language known as interrupters for the deaf. This language is so much fun to learn and it really is an amazing way to communicate. Seeing deaf people around your city and people questioning what they are saying and thinking to yourself "Hey,I know that language", is a great feeling. Sign Language is an amazing language, and I want to continue learning more.

Wisdom

What I would tell my kids when they are at the age to have an experience in drugs is, honestly everyone has a hard time in some part of there life, but drugs are not the route to chose. I would never want any of my kids to part take in drugs of any sort of drug. There are so many drugs and so many people who die from them each year. One of the main things I would say is " Don`t listen to anyone who say`s you wont get hurt, because they feel great and they make you cool. I would tell them to stay as far away from alcohol as they can, because alcohol is almost just as bad. Hundreds of people die each year from use of alcohol.

Main ideas that I would share with them would be. I would answer any question that they wanted to know about drugs or at least tell them as much as I know. I would try to keep drugs and alcohol away from my kids as much as possible. Normally in some school`s there is always one person that would influence drugs or alcohol to who ever they can. Telling and showing my kids pictures of what could happen to you if you start to use different drugs. Drugs really effect people`s lives and ruin them. I would never want to lose a child to any sort of street drug because I could never imagine losing a child.

Heroin

My opinion about this article is that it really shows you what could happen after using the street drug called Heroin. This article shows you that heroin is a strong drug that many people take advantage of. It may effect you by killing you, but it also effected the people that lose you.

This article shows you how families feel after they lose someone so important to them. Also some people think that it`s just a drug, like the article said " Parents need to know it does not go away over night" this drug is serious and is extremely dangerous. A lot of people think that a short period of time in rehab will cure every problem. Recovering from an addition to Heroin can be extremely tough.

Friday Brain Day

1.) Two donuts. Take three donuts on one side and three donuts on the other side and see if any of the sides are heavier. If none of the sides are lower then the other side, the donut that is heavier is on the scale. Then take the two donuts that are not on the scale and measure them both. If one is heavier then you found the donut that is the heaviest. Therefore you can only measure two at a time.

2.) I think if you roll snake eyes two times in a row, you might have a 50-50 chance of rolling them again. Unless the dice is loaded, meaning set to go on a certain point or number.

3.) To flip the triangle upside down but only be able to move three pennies, you would need to flip only the top penny and the bottom two pennies. You would put the two bottom pennies to the top of the triangle, and bring the top one down.

4.) You would have to put the squares on the outer layer but all together you would have 12 squares. The black squares are smaller then the white ones are bigger.

5.) There should be 96 games played in all, because at least one team will lose one game against each other.

Prescription Drugs

1.) Over 57% died over prescription drugs, such as Vicodin, Oxycontin and Codeine

4.) Oxycontin, Opana, Codeine, and Vicodin are the drugs that are involved with deadly consequences

For or Againest

My opinion on Marijuana would be, I don`t think Marijuana is "cool". As everyone else knows it by as " smoking weed". Although it may not be the most damaging drug of them all, it still is not the best drug for you to use. I am against using any drugs.

I believe that most kids are addicted to the feeling, more then the drug itself. Side effects of Marijuana can cause dry mouth, red eyes, lung problems, and your basic mental functioning. I think this drug is too easy for kids to get a hold of it, and thats why most kids are taking advantage of it.

It`s one thing if you were prescribed medical marijuana, but if kids even adults are using it for fun. There was once a time when I thought smoking weed would be cool because everyone would smoke it. Honestly I believe that kids who smoke weed start to use harder drugs in the future because they like the feelings that they get and want to try more and more. I am 100% against the use of Marijuana
