My free choice is about Sign language. Sign language is a beautiful language created for deaf people. Using sign language is one of the most known ways to communicate by using your hands. There are hundreds of different signs to use, and millions of ways to express them. Sign language was created many many years ago, because many people complained about there children not understanding them. So other doctors and many others created a way to speak.

Using this language you have to work on how neat you are with your hands, and how your facial expressions turn out. Sign language has motions that you would repeat, but they mean different things. The only way you would be able to tell the difference in signs, would be using your expressions. There are so many people who are not even deaf, and learn the language for fun. Tons of schools started teaching this beautiful language for kids who were interested.

Not knowing much about this language, I decided to take it my freshman year. People can make careers learning this language known as interrupters for the deaf. This language is so much fun to learn and it really is an amazing way to communicate. Seeing deaf people around your city and people questioning what they are saying and thinking to yourself "Hey,I know that language", is a great feeling. Sign Language is an amazing language, and I want to continue learning more.

Wisdom

What I would tell my kids when they are at the age to have an experience in drugs is, honestly everyone has a hard time in some part of there life, but drugs are not the route to chose. I would never want any of my kids to part take in drugs of any sort of drug. There are so many drugs and so many people who die from them each year. One of the main things I would say is " Don`t listen to anyone who say`s you wont get hurt, because they feel great and they make you cool. I would tell them to stay as far away from alcohol as they can, because alcohol is almost just as bad. Hundreds of people die each year from use of alcohol.

Main ideas that I would share with them would be. I would answer any question that they wanted to know about drugs or at least tell them as much as I know. I would try to keep drugs and alcohol away from my kids as much as possible. Normally in some school`s there is always one person that would influence drugs or alcohol to who ever they can. Telling and showing my kids pictures of what could happen to you if you start to use different drugs. Drugs really effect people`s lives and ruin them. I would never want to lose a child to any sort of street drug because I could never imagine losing a child.

Heroin

My opinion about this article is that it really shows you what could happen after using the street drug called Heroin. This article shows you that heroin is a strong drug that many people take advantage of. It may effect you by killing you, but it also effected the people that lose you.

This article shows you how families feel after they lose someone so important to them. Also some people think that it`s just a drug, like the article said " Parents need to know it does not go away over night" this drug is serious and is extremely dangerous. A lot of people think that a short period of time in rehab will cure every problem. Recovering from an addition to Heroin can be extremely tough.

Friday Brain Day

1.) Two donuts. Take three donuts on one side and three donuts on the other side and see if any of the sides are heavier. If none of the sides are lower then the other side, the donut that is heavier is on the scale. Then take the two donuts that are not on the scale and measure them both. If one is heavier then you found the donut that is the heaviest. Therefore you can only measure two at a time.

For or Againest

My opinion on Marijuana would be, I don`t think Marijuana is "cool". As everyone else knows it by as " smoking weed". Although it may not be the most damaging drug of them all, it still is not the best drug for you to use. I am against using any drugs.

I believe that most kids are addicted to the feeling, more then the drug itself. Side effects of Marijuana can cause dry mouth, red eyes, lung problems, and your basic mental functioning. I think this drug is too easy for kids to get a hold of it, and thats why most kids are taking advantage of it.

It`s one thing if you were prescribed medical marijuana, but if kids even adults are using it for fun. There was once a time when I thought smoking weed would be cool because everyone would smoke it. Honestly I believe that kids who smoke weed start to use harder drugs in the future because they like the feelings that they get and want to try more and more. I am 100% against the use of Marijuana

My opinion about smoking is, I think it should be illegal. So many people die each year because of lung cancer, and second hand smoke. Smoking has always grossed me out. There has been times that a few of my old friends would try to convince me that it was fun and calmed you down. Smoking causes yellow teeth and also bad breath.

Although people may think that it calms you down, I highly disagree. I have once tried it under peer pressure and I know for a fact that I will never try it again. I grew up learning that smoking is bad for you, and that`s how I will always remember it. I will never again pick up a cigarette.

My Favorite Band

My favorite band would be Mumford & Sons. This band has been together 2007, and is one of the most popular bands known in the years of 2008-2013. Mumford & Sons are originally from London, United Kingdom. It is mainly based as an English folk rock band.

The reason why this is my favorite band, is because there music isn`t rap or obnoxious. Mumford & Sons music is relaxing, and its almost like every song that they have written is just another chapter to the same story. There songs are very relaxing but they are extremely fun.

Some of the songs from this band that are my favorite contain titles such as, Babel, I Will Wait, Winter Winds, and Below My Feet. I love these songs because they can build up your self esteem. This band has fast paced songs, and slow paced. They are such a creative band and so hard working. This band will most likely always be my favorite.

2 gallon-  Fill the 4 gallon bucket. Pour 2 gallons out of the 4 gallon bucket into the 9 gallon bucket. now you have 2 gallons in the 4 gallon bucket.

3 gallon- Fill the 4 gallon bucket to the top. Pour out 1 gallon into the 9 gallon bucket. Empty the 9 gallon bucket. and you have 3 gallons.

8 gallon- Fill up the 4 gallon bucket and pour the amount of 4 gallons into the 9 gallon bucket. Fill up the 4 gallon bucket and you now have 8 gallons of water in all. 4 gallons in the 4 gallon bucket and 4 gallons in the 9 gallon bucket.

9 gallon- Fill up the 9 gallon bucket to the top.

10 gallon- Fill the 9 gallon completely to the top. Take the 4 gallon bucket, pour most of it out until you reach 1 gallon. You now have 10 gallons. 9 gallons in one bucket and 1 gallon in the other.

11 gallon- Fill the 9 gallon bucket to the top and there is 9 gallons. Then fill the 4 gallon bucket and pour out 2 gallons of the 4 gallon bucket and it gives you 11 gallons.

12 gallon- Fill the 9 gallon bucket. You now have 9 gallons. Take the 4 gallon bucket and pour out 1 gallon back into the well. it gives you 12 gallons

13 gallon-  Fill up the 9 gallon bucket to the top. Then fill up the 4 gallon bucket to the top.

Mt Favorite Hobby

My favorite hobby would be my job. I work at Cold stone Creamery. Cold stone Creamery is an ice cream parlor, where you serve ice cream to customers, but you mix and add ingredients yourself. I have worked at Cold stone for four months staring August 4, 2013.

My opinion about this hobby is, I love to work. I think starting this as my first job has been a fantastic experience. I would love to continue this job until i`m mature enough to handle jobs that would be a bit more complicated.

Why is this my favorite hobby? I love to help others. Getting my first job was a big step in life and was also a huge step for growing up. I love to sing when we get tips, or tell jokes to customers and make them laugh. I love providing customer service and meeting new people.

Happy Gilmore

My favorite movie would be Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore is a movie staring Adam Sandler who plays the roll of Happy. This movie is about a man who loves playing hockey, but he was not very good, instead of hockey he found a secret talent for Golf.

Happy Gilmore has been out since February 16th, 1996. This movie is mostly a comedy and is a very well known movie. The basic of the movie is to try something new and you might have a hidden talent. Happy Gilmore enters competitions to raise money for his grandmother who lost her house.

Happy Gilmore has defiantly been my favorite for about four or five years. The reason I love this movie so much is because it always makes me laugh no matter how many times I have seen it. I Could watch this movie over and over again. Also it reminds me to succeed in what you do, don't give up just because you don't like something because secretly you could be amazing at it.
